We are currently working with a lovely secondary school in Hayes. They are currently looking to recruit a Music Teaching and Learning Assistantto work across the school, whilst also being assigned to the music department to cover supervise and grow withinthe music department. You will start off on a long term basis, with a view to go permanent with the school

The school is situated in pretty grounds with lots of open space. The school has brand new refurbished classrooms and facilities across the school A lot of the TAs who work there go on to be teachers. The school offers a progressive staff structure whichinternal and external training, with opportunities for teacher training also after 1 year as a Teaching and Learning Assistant.

Key responsibilities of Music Teaching and Learning Assistant:

- _Provide in class support, and support accordingly to EHCP students within the class_
- _Leading your own form group of upto 20 - 25 students, holding responsibility for their enhancement, attendance and academic growth._
- _Conducting attendance and registration checks, and responsible as the point of contact for form group and their parents._
- _Under the guidance of the SENCO, contribute to setting individual targets and to the review of those targets. Attend and contribute to meetings to review students' progress, and contribute to written reports_

Key Requirements of Music Teaching and Learning Assistant:

- Must have a degree level qualification in music, singing, musical theatre, performing arts or other related topics.
- Previous work experience within a school or other child related experience
- Professional manner
- Enthusiasm and friendly approach
- Experience or knowledge within special educational needs
