**EMERGENCY MEDICINE SIMULATION**

**Salary Scale - £36,472 - £57,349 per annum (pro rata as appropriate)**

NHS Forth Valley seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Emergency Medicine Trainee as a Simulation Fellow based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH) and the Scottish Centre for Simulation and Clinical Human Factors (SCSCHF).

During this one-year post, you will have the opportunity to learn the art and theory of Simulation, develop novel Simulation packages and deliver forward-thinking education in Simulation alongside the team at the SCSCHF. The SCSCHF, located on the FVRH site, is Scotland’s premiere centre for medical simulation innovation. It is where the successful applicant will spend 40% of their time developing and delivering education in Simulation alongside a multidisciplinary team of fellows and permanent staff. For 60% of their week, the trainee will join an energetic team of 13 Emergency Medicine consultants plus Emergency Medicine Practitioners (EMPs) and Specialty Doctors (SDs) with a range of subspecialty interests, including PEM and Simulation, on a shift pattern that includes in hours and out of hours working to deliver high quality emergency care to children and adults of the Forth Valley area.
