CLEANER - 6pm-10pm
The Cleaner shall carry out those responsibilities assigned by the Facilities Manager as detailed below.
Daily responsibilities
- To provide a clean and pleasant environment for use by those staff and pupils who attend the school
- To thoroughly clean the tables, chairs, shelves, work surfaces, computers, floors and inside windows of the allocated areas of the School and areas as directed by management.
- To clean the toilets, showers and shower areas across the site.
- To assist in the cleaning of the swimming pool area and changing facilities.
- To empty bins, including paper shredder bins and remove rubbish from the premise to the appropriate area
- To maintain all School standards of hygiene and safety of all cleaning equipment and cleaning Cupboards in your charge.
- Use initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within the timetable but require attention as part of maintaining overall high standards.
- Work as part of a team and support other members of the cleaning team
- To undertake any other duties as directed by the Facilities Manager.

Health & Safety/Training
- To report any Health & Safety issues identified to the Facilities Manager.
- To ensure the safety of all children, young people and vulnerable adults within the School. To complete the annual online Safeguarding training and understand and comply with all Safeguarding policies and practices.
- To immediately report any safeguarding concerns to your manager.
- To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate

This Job Description is not intended to be all embracing and the post holder shall be required to carry out any reasonable requests by the Head for the betterment of the School, commensurate with training and experience.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
