Caretaker/maintenance

BDS are currently recruiting for a friendly and cheerful caretaker/groundsperson for a sheltered housing retirement service based in Thame, Oxfordshire

To be the first point of call for residents and visitors to the service.
Making contact with the residents daily and checking their welfare, having a chat and
Reporting any faults or repairs
Signposting information of local services
Arranging a nice coffee and cake morning, game of cards and scrabble.
Grounds maintenance, grass cutting, bush trimming, pruning, bits of DIY in and around the service.
To build familiarity with the residents

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am
- 12pm

Hours; 15 hours per week,

This is a permanent position, £10.873 per annum

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £13.89 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
