HR Manager - Peterborough

**Salary**: competitive depending on experience
Location: Peterborough
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (4pm finish on a Friday), one day per week from home optional
The Company:
We are delighted to be representing a highly reputable and forward-thinking Not-for-Profit business, based local to Peterborough. This commercially-minded business has experienced expediential growth in the past 18 months, and as such is looking to add an integralmember to the business, a HR Manager to head up and grow the HR team. This will be an exciting position well-suited to someone who is confident with all HR disciplines and has a strategic approach.
Accountabilities of the HR Manager include:
*First point of contact for all general HR queries from responsible departments
*Managing the HR team with 3x direct reports
*Raise profile of HR throughout the Company to increase employee buy-in and enhance motivation and performance
*To successfully put in place HR related documentation/processes across the wider business
*To provide support to training/L&D as required
*Employee relations as appropriate - EAP, benefits and retention, disciplinaries, grievances, etc
*Provide reports to leadership team and board members
*Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
*Ensure all policies are updated in line with current legislation, update Staff Handbook as required and distribute
To be considered for the position:
*You will be an experienced HR Manager or possibly an HR Advisor with standalone experience
*You will be CIPD Level 5 accredited or working towards it
*You will have generalist experience including key areas of HR such as - ER, employee development and retention, payroll, L&D, etc.
*You will be strategic in nature and comfortable in putting HR processes in place
