Optical Test and Calibration Limited is a respected and independent calibration laboratory based in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire. Owned by its directors and staffed by quality professionals the company aims to provide an unrivalled level of support in instrument calibration, service and sales. Being one of the first UK companies to gain UKAS accreditation in fibre optics, the company has continued to invest in existing and new fields of calibration by achieving UKAS accreditation for electrical, photometric & most recently Ultra Violet measurements.

In this position you will be working to ISO9000 standards within a customer-orientated business, your duties will involve, but will not necessarily be limited to:
**Main Responsibilities**:
1-12 months
- Be actively involved in the day-to-day handling of customer enquiries.
- After adequate training, participate with the day to day quoting/estimate generation of both internally and externally generated enquires.
- Be the principle contact for OTC’s hire inventory.
- From time to time participation in customer equipment collection activities will be required, nationwide.

12 months onwards
- Play a major part in ensuring that the company meets or exceeds its sales targets by finding and securing profitable contracts which increase market share: both with existing accounts and by identifying new customers.
- Work with the rest of the sales team on dedicated sales campaigns to further online sales and marketing activities for all departments.
- Work closely with the Laboratory to ensure that the services offered are within our capability and capacity.

**Education & Experience**:

- Minimum qualification - A levels / BTEC OND or equivalent in technically appropriate disciplines such as electronics, sciences, or engineering, with an ambition to succeed in sales & marketing a necessity.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office© 365 including Word, Outlook & Excel proficiently.
- Minimum 2-years work experience in an appropriate industry.

**Remuneration**:

- Negotiable: Dependent on experience. Overtime will be required from time to time to deal with workloads and meeting deadlines.

Core working hours Monday to Friday 09.00 while 17.00 with 30 minutes lunch and 45-minute flex-time.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
