Infineum are delighted to offer a position on the Lubes Technology Rotation Scheme. For the first two years of your career with us, you will be given the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience across Lubes Technology by spending time in three different groups, gaining understanding of and contributing towards both product development and customer facing activities. Upon completion of the scheme, you will be given a role in one of these groups.

**About the teams involved**:

- The Product Development (PD) Team develops next generation engine lubricant additive packages, for both the passenger car and heavy-duty truck markets, through innovative formulation design and testing to ensure compliance with industry requirements. The team sits at the heart of Infineum's technology organisation, collaborating both internally and externally to develop products which will be manufactured and sold worldwide to meet our customers' needs
- The Customer Technical Service (CTS) Team works at the customer interface, collaborating to understand and deliver on their engine lubricant requirements. This involves tailoring existing lubricant additive packages and oil formulations to meet the specific needs of the customer. This rotation will provide direct interaction with one or more of Infineum’s smaller customers and enable you to develop an understanding of the more commercial side of Lubes Technology.

**What you will be doing**:

- Initially supporting, and then leading technical projects or workstreams within projects, either to develop a new product or as part of a customer account
- Generating innovative solutions to both additive package and oil formulation challenges, such as enhancing fuel economy
- Communicating with and networking across multiple interfaces, such as other Technology groups within Infineum and project stakeholders from our Marketing and Sales teams
- Working closely with customers or engine / vehicle manufacturers to understand and deliver their needs
- Helping to develop and support more junior colleagues within the teams
- Strong commitment to safety and quality values
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in the form of a PhD or equivalent, preferably in formulation development, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering or Materials Science
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex technical data, to derive sound technical judgements and drive project decisions
- Ability to understand the needs of and manage the expectations of stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Compelling interpersonal and networking skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams
- Knowledge of lubricant industry, formulation or new product development would be advantageous but not essential as full training is provided
