The role reports to the Procurement Manager and the key duties will include:
- Responsible for the day to day purchasing tasks such as liaising with suppliers on delivery dates, prices and availability
- Supporting the site teams
- Issuing purchase orders and expedition of materials
- Benchmarking, Scorecards, and supplier performances
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Supporting the tendering and procurement functions
- Researching suppliers
**Qualifications**
**Qualifications**:
- Procurement & Purchasing Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
- Procurement: 1 year (preferred)
- Purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
Experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexible 'can do' approach
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
