Akre is a game-changing natural capital developer. We enable organisations to smash their climate and biodiversity targets. Our four main branches are designed to simplify businesses nature-based solutions journey: Trees, Capital, Systems & Exchange. The primary purpose of this role is to manage and take responsibility for Akre sales.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and deliver on agreed sales targets for the Akre Nursery
- Build strong relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business
- Build strong relationships with nursery staff to ensure quality products and services
- Win new business and introduce the sector to our unique Akre product
**Essential Qualifications / Traits**
- Understand our improved product and communicate this message to customers
- Wide knowledge of forest management companies and their process for procurement
- Knowledge of land agents, landowners and potential customers to establish and drive sales
- Knowledge of rural practices around tree planting
- Willingness to introduce our carbon negative product to groups, charities and educate a wider group of the benefits of using the Akre trees
- Host nursery visits, with customers and in turn generate sales
- After sales follow up is essential to ensure the customers are satisfied with the products, service and delivery
- Make a 24-hour response commitment to clients on pricing, quotes and invocing
**Desirable Traits**
- Have working knowledge of a tree nursery and the seasonality factors that affect nursery practices
- Have a willingness to join and participate in industry groups and meetings, to be agreed with your line manager
- After sales follow up is essential to ensure the customers are satisfied with the products, service and delivery
- Work closely with Akre Project Manager to network within the industry
- Knowledge of logistics, i.e. forest site deliveries, ensuring quality communication with both the nursery staff and the customers to ensure delivery is the best it can be

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
