Prospect Research Lead

Department: Development & Commercial

Locations: Office / Factory International

Working across the Philanthropy (Individual Giving, Trusts & Foundations) and Commercial (Regional and International Brand Partnerships) teams you will deliver prospect research which propels prospect and supporter engagement at Factory International. You will provide high-quality, insightful research, utilise data analytics and work closely with income generation professionals to ensure their pipelines will support them to meet or exceed their funding targets. To succeed in this role, you will need to be a team player, who is organised, pays close attention to detail, is information and data driven, is highly curious, has investigative skills and lots of initiative.

The key responsibilities for the Prospect Research Lead role include:
ESSENTIAL
- Have proven experience in the field of fundraising/donor research or investigative, open-source research or journalistic research, and of using prospect research tools
- Ability to work in an enquiring, curious, methodical but imaginative way, using facts and evidence to draw logical conclusions
- Strong analytical skills, able to assimilate and interpret data from a variety of sources and to present this information in a range of formats, sometimes to short deadlines
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of CRM database management
- Demonstrable understanding of GDPR and Freedom of Information laws to ensure information is processed and stored appropriately
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail and factual accuracy
- Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds

DESIRABLE
- Experience within a fundraising environment
- Knowledge of national and/or local business and/or individual philanthropic communities
- Be ready to find solutions and suggest ideas for changes to procedures and working practice when these are required
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
