**R. Plevin & Sons Ltd**, a market leader in the wood recycling industry, has an exciting opportunity for a **Baling Operative, Monday - Friday 06:00 -16:00 hours **to join our busy team based at Crow Edge, Near Penistone, South Yorkshire S36 4HG.

We specialise in the recycling of all forms of waste wood and produce a range of sustainable products suitable for the panel board industry, biomass power plants and for use within animal bedding. **The Baling Operative Role**:
This is a varied role in production, baling wood shavings produced as sawmill residues.

You will operate the baling machine and will also be required to assist in general plant duties, including cleaning and maintaining the machinery.

Other duties include changing the films of the products as and when needed, setting and reviewing the machinery including the pelletiser and wrapper to ensure they are working correctly.

You will also be expected to help clean out the inside of trailers, make up pallets and load stock using a Teletruk. (conversion training from FLT to Teletruk will be provided)

The Baling Operative role will involve some manual handling.

**Key skills and experience needed to become our Baling Operative**:

- **Previous experience of operating a FLT is essential
