Mullion School

Mullion School, part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated professional to lead our success Creative and Performing Arts Faculty for September 2023. As part of the team, you will be making a significant contribution to the quality of teaching and learning within the Faculty and will have the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range at KS3 and KS4. Both NQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone who will be able to build strong and effective relationships with stakeholders and who will enable our students to ‘be the best they can be’. You will share our focus on supporting students to achieve their potential and our commitment to personal and social development.

This an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of experienced teachers in a forward thinking school. Currently the Performing Arts faculty consists of Drama, Music and Dance. We were the previous beneficiaries of Specialist Schools status which contributed to a recording studio, new music teaching spaces and specialist music technician for the department. At this point Drama was also introduced to the curriculum and the school embraced the title of Specialist School in the Performing Arts.
