In this Business Development job, you will be joining a consultancy specialising in R&D tax credit claims. They work with some of the UK's most exciting and innovative businesses to help them gain access to huge amounts of revenue from Government grants andschemes, put in place to incentivise innovation and investment in the UK.
Established in 2020, this firm has quickly emerged as the challenger to the established market leaders.
To date, it has delivered in excess of £30m of client benefit and is currently working on an additional £20m. The Government budget for R&D this year is £14.9 Billion, so there is huge potential here and this firm has an incredibly scalable model

Job description - Junior Sales Executive
In this Business Development role, you will be responsible for managing a pipeline of warm leads that you have developed through referrals from existing clients. This is a completely warm and consultative sales position, but will need you to be able to effectivelymanage prospects through the sales cycle
efficiently and ultimately close deals. This role will need a highly motivated individual who is target-driven, able to effectively multitask multiple ongoing projects, and able to close new business.

Key responsibilities - Junior Sales Executive
In this Business Development Executive opportunity, your responsibilities will include:

- Building and developing a robust network of partnerships within key industries
- Following up on warm sales leads and opportunities with clients across all industries and business sizes
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders at a senior/C suite level across various industries
- Conduct thorough market and industry research across to stay on top of industry trends
- Maintaining and growing your own pipeline and managing clients through the sales cycle
- Managing prospects/businesses from initial contact through to contract sign
- Meeting prospective clients both virtually and in-person
- Liaising with various internal stakeholders and internal teams
Job requirements - Junior Sales Executive
- A degree from a university
- Previous B2B sales experience in the professional services or STEM sectors would be advantageous
- Background in a target-driven environment with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets
- Driven and able to use company database efficiently/stay on top of admin
- Detail-oriented and able to effectively multitask
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders
- Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
