Bothwell Castle Care Home is looking to recruit a Housekeeping Assistant.

Bothwell Castle Care Home is a 5-star luxury care home, which provides nursing care and support for elderly residents.

As Housekeeping Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, always ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Housekeeper Contract
- £10.42 per hour
- Contracted to 30 hours per week.
- 5.6 weeks Annual Leave (based on full time contract)
- Pension
- Uniform provided
- Onsite parking
- Paid PVG

**Responsibilities**:

- Empty waste bins
- Vacuum throughout
- Shake out cushions
- Clean dining rooms/lounges/toilets
- Clean taps and sinks
- Clean soap dispenser outlets
- Clean toothbrush holders
- Spot clean all flooring
- Wash all bathroom/toilet/en-suite floors
- Polish all mirrors
- Clean all pipe work in toilets
- Dust handrails and radiators
- Move all mobile furniture (including beds and chairs) and vacuum and dust beneath/behind
- Wash out metal wastepaper bins
- Dust and polish furniture and windowsills
- Wash lino floors
- Shampoo carpets as requested by Home Manager
- Dust light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings
- Restock toiletries, soaps, towels when required
