**Location**: Malton, North Yorkshire

**Contract**: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CAD Draughtsman to join our clients design team. The role requires the use of SolidWorks 3D modelling software & AutoCAD. You will need to gain an in-depth knowledge of the products being produced and will be expected to liaise regularly with production.

**Main Duties**:

- Converting client's requirements into working manufacturing drawings
- Creating drawings for the client to enable site installation.
- To draw complex aluminium fabrications
- Create drawings for gutters/ rainwater ancillaries.
- Create sheet metal parts to export to CNC machines.
- Accurately interpret customer’s details
- Working as part of Team, with own colleagues and those from other key departments
- Utilising problem-solving skills to find customer resolutions.
- Independently organising, prioritising, and managing workload
- Ensuring accuracy of work issued
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.

**Key Skills**:

- Proven knowledge and experience of working in a design office supporting a production environment.
- 3D CAD skills are essential.
- SolidWorks
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office
- HNC/BTEC in Engineering or Construction would be beneficial.
- Proven experience of working with a team to achieve results.
