Barchester’s South division have created an exciting internal developmental opportunity to join our talented team of Operational Trainers. We will support you through a training programme to develop knowledge, skills, and competencies relating to the roleof Operational Trainer.

NEED TO HAVE:

- Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care
- Working knowledge of legislative requirements within the care industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Zoom
- Motivation to complete training to become an independent, effective, and motivational Operational Trainer
- Full UK driving licence
NEED TO DO:

- Complete training under the guidance of an experienced Operational Trainer, including observing and delivering training courses
- Attend external train the trainer courses
- Ensure homes meet all induction and refresher mandatory and statutory training standards
- Plan and publish training calendars
- Observe workplace practice to ensure each home/hospital is delivering a good quality of care
- Provide accurate reports to General Managers, Regional Directors, and Training and Compliance managers
- Obtain a recognised training qualification
- Support new employees through their induction period
- Promote learning and development opportunities to new and existing staff
