**Maths teacher - Bury - January**

A dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher is required to work at a secondary school in Bury the role will be full time and will be to start as soon as possible after Christmas, and will continue until they break for summer in July.

The school has a good reputation in the local community and has excellent transport links & a large on site car park. This position is full time and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Maths teachers.

You will be required to become fully involved in the school & department, attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering engaging lessons, marking the work and providing feedback alongthe way.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:
Location - Bury

Position - Maths Teacher (KS3/4)

Type of work - Teaching

Start date - January 2023

Likely Duration - 2 terms - until July 2023

Contract type - Temporary

Full time

Minimum rate of pay - from £135 per day

Hours - 8:20am - 4:20pm Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however not essential to be Maths related)

Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths

Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)

Recent experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)

Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK

Provide a minimum of two professional references
