**EHS Officer**

Here at Fresenius Medical Care, we are looking for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officer with drive, energy, enthusiasm but most of all passion. Part of this role will include working with a wider team to deliver FMC's ambitious environmental sustainability programme.

Our EHS officer will be the main point of contact for all EHS requirements as well as supporting a number of our dialysis units. In your daily role you will promote a positive culture throughout the Organisation and actively promote the EHS Management Systems.

Duties will include; carrying out Internal Health and Safety Audits, provide appropriate advice and support within the business, assist with risk assessment programme, and support with incident reporting where necessary.

You will report into the Head of Quality & Regulatory Affairs - Care Delivery and will support the Company EHS & Environmental Sustainability Lead.

**This is a hybrid, full-time role of 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. You will be required to attend our Head Office based in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire at least once a week.**

**What does the role involve?**

You will:

- Promote the Organisation's EHS Management Systems
- Support and promote the company’s H&S System.
- Provide general day to day advice and assistance to Department and Clinic Managers as required
- Carry out internal Health & Safety Audits in all areas of the business
- Review incident reports and analyse data to identify areas for continual improvement
- Develop and compile statistics from data gathered from incident reports and audits to ensure accurate reporting
- Ensure that the Fresenius Medical Care Sustainability Policy is promoted and communicated with all stakeholders
- Provide support with writing task specific risk assessments.
