**Electrical/Electronic Engineer**

**Location - Stansted**

**Salary - £30,000 to £45,000**

Have you got experience of investigating performance and quality issues using Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies?

We have a unique opportunity in Stansted for an Electrical/Electronic Engineer to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be working full-time.

**Responsibilities**
- Undertake technical evaluation of electrical and electronic aircraft components and associated systems to deliver engineering solutions to the workshop
- Reverse engineering of electrical testing protocols and component assembly supporting New Product Development (NPD)
- Design and/or upgrade of electrical test equipment within budget capable of meeting component test specification parameters.
- Write or work with specialist software writers to improve software code to for greater automation opportunities of electrical components during testing procedures
- Lead and/or support New Product Development projects
- Offer technical support
- Leverage extensive knowledge to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner
- Other duties as deemed reasonable

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven relevant experience of building and designing test rigs
- Engineering degree - any related discipline (electrical / electronic highly desirable)
- Good knowledge of safe working practices and associated EHS requirements
- Experience of investigating performance and quality issues using Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisation skills with a good eye for detail
- Good Knowledge of Inspection and testing electrical installations
- Good IT skills
