**Job Title: Experienced Cover Supervisor**

**Location: Newport, UK**

**Position Type: Full-time, Part-time, temporary and fixed term available**

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a rewarding opportunity in secondary education? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in supporting secondary schools across the Newport area. This is an exciting chance to play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning and supporting student progress in a dynamic school environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise classes in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive engagement and respect among students.
- Support students with their learning, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure smooth operation and communication during teacher absences.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behavior, reporting any concerns to appropriate staff members.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced school environment.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to handle unforeseen challenges.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are desirable but not essential.

Pay: £100.00-£130.00 per day
