Reed Accountancy are delighted to be supporting a prestigious Property Management Company based in Wickford, who are looking for an accounts professional to join their team as an Accounts Manager. This vacancy offers an opportunity to manage an existingteam and be an integral part of the company’s growth.
**Your new role**:
The Accounts Team manager will be responsible for all team management requirements including (but not limited to):
- Service Charge Account team and functions
- Credit control team and functions
- Purchase Ledger team and functions
- Legal and admin team and enquiries
- Training
- Recruitment
**Your new Responsibilities**:
- Overseeing the management of all accounting functions for developments and sites under our management.
- Client reporting and communications
- Calculation and distribution of service charges in accordance with the budget set.
- Liaising with external accountants to prepare final accounts involving closing year ends on the system, answering Client Accountants queries and production of trial balances.
- Building Insurance recharges.
- Ensuring Companies House filing deadlines are met.
- Dealing with service charge accounts queries and producing breakdowns upon request.
- Ensuring that internal monitoring and filing processes are met.
- Experience of new build developments an advantage. Specifically, void charges and phased handovers.
- Reporting to Associate Director and Director.
**What you will need to succeed**:
- Experience in managing a team
- Strong knowledge/background of Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Strong knowledge/background of Credit Control
- Experience in similar industry/property management would be advantageous
