**Legal Secretary - Leeds / Hybrid Working - £25k - £30k (DoE) + bonus & benefits**

We are looking for a highly organised, professional and proactive **Legal Secretary **to join a successful law firm, based in their Leeds office.

Joining a market-leading organisation, the Legal Secretary will provide first-class support to allocated partners and associates within their practice area. You will be an ‘ambassador’ for the firm, being the first point of contact for clients, so we are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong administrative capabilities as you will produce legal documentation and correspondence, maintain diaries and assist with marketing activities.

**Key responsibilities as the Legal Secretary will include**:

- First point of contact for clients, dealing with any queries or issues and maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Building good working knowledge of the legal areas of expertise you are supporting
- Maintaining partners’ and associates’ diaries
- Coordinating internal and external meetings
- Coordinating billing/credit control and accounting matters
- Producing legal documentation and correspondence
- Assisting with the preparation of court bundles
- Assisting with marketing activities
- Building knowledge of files and matters to be able to support partners and associates in assisting clients

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience in a similar Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or Legal PA role
- Fast, accurate typing (c70wpm) and accurate numeracy skills
- Highly organised nature with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels professionally, confidentially and tactfully
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Proactive, professional and personable team player
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
