Hydrologist- Sheffield

My Client, a market leading specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Hydrologist to join their team based in Sheffield.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience using Tuflow, Flood Modeller and Microdrainage.

This exciting flood risk opportunity will offer you the chance to join an established team based in Sheffield. You will be expected to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk, Water Monitoring and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients,Local Authorities and Housing Developers.

You will be required to complete technical work including;
- Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
- Surface Water Management Plans.
- Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
- Drainage Design using Microdrainage.
- Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
- Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
- Site visits and site walkovers.
- Client meetings to discuss project development and to develop new business opportunities.

You will be expected to work from the office 4 days per week and a more flexible approach will be offered following probation.
