**Function**:
As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of plant and production machinery by conducting planned maintenance, providing timely breakdown services, and supporting the continual improvement of facility operations. You will work proactively to identify and address any areas of concern, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met.

**Key Duties**:
**Technical Expertise**: Possess vocational qualifications in electrical and mechanical principles with experience in repairing a variety of electro-mechanical devices including motors, control gear, rollers, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, belts, RTD’s, and thermocouples.

**PLC Competency**: Proficient in Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley PLC systems to troubleshoot and maintain machinery.

**Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems**: Investigate and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.

**Team Collaboration**: Work independently or as part of a team with competency in interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.

**Time Management**: Capable of working efficiently within tight timeframes while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:
**Adherence to Company Policies**: Consistently uphold company guidelines and policies outlined in the Company Handbook and other relevant documents.

**Safety Compliance**: Strictly adhere to all safety policies including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Risk Assessments (RA’s), Non-Moving Reports (NMR’s), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

**Communication**: Provide detailed shift reports to departmental heads, highlighting breakdowns and necessary improvements for enhanced coordination and efficiency.

**Spare Parts Management**: Review and maintain an adequate stock of spare parts to ensure continuous availability of production machines and services.

**Development and Training**: Actively participate in training programs for self-development and assist in training production team members on the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment.

**Support**: Demonstrate flexibility by providing support as needed to ensure 24/7 maintenance coverage, including overtime and shift swaps.

**Housekeeping and Safety**: Maintain a clean and safe working environment to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO/BRC.

**Continuous Improvement**: Actively engage in the company's Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
