Do you have a passion for working with young people from the ages of 8 upwards, to help them to create their own future and develop their life and social skills? At Geeks Room, we are looking for mentors who are dedicated to helping individuals learn, socialise and feel included within our community.

We are looking for:

- Enthusiastic, adaptable and lively people.
- People with ingenuity, patience and wit.
- No specific skills are required (although any previous experience is very welcome), you can learn with us
- Dedicated to the education of individuals with special needs.
- People who strive to create an inclusive environment and community.
- Must have some availability on **Saturdays (12pm-7pm)** and **2-3 weekdays (Tuesday-Friday, 10am-6pm)**

**Who we are**:
We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company in Leeds, working with and for individuals between the ages of 8-18 years, we cater for all abilities and capabilities. Our main focus is on individuals with special needs, delivering specific programmes and activities to target people with a range of abilities. We provide regular workshops, one to one training and practical experience. We strive to inspire our students to learn for fun using coding/programming, technical repairs/diagnostics and design/creativity with our 'Game Education' approach. We also offer courses that work towards awards and accreditation for our young adults and young people who wish to push themselves further, and provide work experience opportunities to support individuals to move into employment and education.
