**Safety, Health and Environment Advisor**
We are recruiting for a distinguished global leader with a rich legacy of five decades, specializing in the design, manufacturing and distribution of industrial solutions for a diverse clientele spanning over 14 industries worldwide.
Presently, we are actively seeking an accomplished Safety, Health and Environment Advisor to join their team based in Bedford.
**Responsibilities**:
To remain updated on evolving legal and regulatory standards and ensure consistent adherence.
Continuously enhance policies and procedures supporting Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) activities aligned with company goals.
Promote and bolster a culture of SHE and nuclear safety across the organization, fostering collaboration with employees, clients, suppliers, customers, and partners.
Offer guidance in hazard identification and risk assessment, encompassing potential risks to individuals, health, equipment, materials, and the environment,
Assist Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in understanding task-specific risks, providing guidance, and advising on the formulation of risk assessments and compliance with regulations, maintaining oversight where needed.
Thoroughly investigate and report on incidents, including minor injuries, RIDDOR reportable injuries, equipment damage, near-miss events, and environmental breaches,
Chair and coordinate Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) meetings.
Generate and present data on SHE objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs),
Support business endeavours in planning, execution, and subcontract management concerning SHE aspects.
Ensure the presence of adequate SHE expertise within the company, aiding in maintaining competency and addressing statutory training needs.
Participate in and support internal audits and supply chain evaluations to ensure compliance and endorse best practices.
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and regulatory bodies, as well as client stakeholders, on SHE-related matters.
Drive continual enhancement of housekeeping standards, facilitating the implementation of the 5S process.
**Requirements**:
Minimum 4 years of experience as SHE Advisor in a management role.
Must be experienced with ISO 45001 and 14001.
Hands on experience with Integrated Management Systems.
Experience of working in manufacturing environment with engineering background.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
