Head Barista/supervisor

Lake Road Brunch is a small busy contemporary brunch cafe bar located in the centre of Keswick serving brunch, locally roasted coffee, and classic cocktails.

**Our work environment includes**:

- Conti X-One Evo TC 2 Group coffee machine.
- Compak E8 DBW - 85 mm red speed blade grinder.
- Fully licenced bar.
- Food provided.
- No split shifts.

**We are looking for a full time Head Barista/ Supervisor.**

Pay negotiable depending on experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Dial in coffee daily.
- Daily cleaning and maintaining coffee machine and all its functions.
- Have a general understanding of coffee and roasting.
- Liaise with coffee supplier regarding quality and orders.
- Train, show and coach other staff members on milk steaming, coffee extraction and latte art.
- Ensure that all food and drink is prepared according to health and safety standards.
- Execute and delegate daily jobs.
- Ability to come up with solutions to challenges on a daily basis.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
- Order food supplies and manage inventory.
- Work with a positive attitude and set the right tone for the team.

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (preferred)

**Licence/Certification**:
