**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Marquee Rigger to join our dynamic team. As a Marquee Rigger, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation, dismantling, and maintenance of marquees at various event locations across the United Kingdom. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and hands-on approach will contribute to the success of our events and the satisfaction of our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Site Management**: Take charge of on-site operations, ensuring the efficient and safe installation and dismantling of marquees according to project timelines and specifications.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and lead a team of marquee technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- **Equipment Management**: Coordinate the transportation, setup, and maintenance of marquee equipment, including tents, flooring, lighting, and other event-related infrastructure.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct thorough inspections to guarantee that all installations meet company standards and client expectations, addressing any issues promptly.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Enforce and uphold strict health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring the well-being of the team, clients, and attendees.
- **Client Interaction**: Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand specific requirements, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Work closely with logistics teams to manage transportation schedules, coordinate deliveries, and optimize resource allocation for efficient project execution.
- **Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the setup or dismantling process, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness.

**Requirements**:

- **Previous Experience**: Proven experience in marquee or event setup, with a minimum of 2years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in the use of marquee installation tools and equipment, with a strong understanding of structural requirements and safety protocols.
- **Leadership Abilities**: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards successful project completion.
- **Communication Skills**: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- **Problem-solving**: A proactive and solution-oriented approach to troubleshooting and resolving challenges that may arise during the course of marquee installations.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, based on project requirements and event schedules.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42 - 60 per week
