Key Purpose of the Role:
Preparing scopes of works to support change projects, planned & reactive lifecycle works and the Asset Management Plan. Carry out feasibility studies, advise on the Health and Safety aspects of buildings and projects. Advise on energy use and conservationin a range of buildings and sites, aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint. Work closely with all relevant bodies, including all internal & external stakeholders to ensure designs elements which are being delivered, arefully compliant to all relevant standards and offer the best technical and value for money solution. Own the AIS process for all projects that are planned and scoped by the Asset Planning Team, witness, record and report on all projects that require inputfrom the BSE as defined in the scope of works.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reporting of all Health and Safety defects, near misses, dangerous occurrences and spillages to the Helpdesk
- Take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of themselves, employees, customers or members of the public is not affected by their activities
- Provide detailed and compliant Scope of Works from survey data, site visits and all relevant sources to help in the delivery of Change and Lifecycle Projects and Support Senior Project Manager and Project Managers within the team to achieve this.
- Supporting the Estimator by providing technical information and support
- Review of O&M documentation and Completion Certificates.
- Technical review and assessment of works.
- Witness the testing and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and other systems for Lifecycle/Change Projects.
- Provide written reports on any testing, commissioning, and training deficiencies.
- Working with detailed diagrams, plans and drawings.
- Liaising closely with other professionals and attending technical meetings. Ensuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative, health and safety requirements whilst offering the best possible technical solution for the useof the asset.
- Carry out such duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by the Line Manager or other Senior Managers
- Ensure that all areas of areas of personal responsibility adopt and utilise QHSE policies and procedures

Qualifications Essential:

- Educated to a minimum City & Guilds/ONC level or equivalent in a relevant discipline preferably with a professional membership eg CIBSE
- Must have, or be eligible to have MoD Security clearance
