Logistics Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator - Monday - Friday evening shift pattern. Working hours are 18:00 - 02:30.

Responsibilities include:

- To coordinate the despatch and collection of goods to ensure the customer receives their order in a compliant manner, on time and in full.
- To resolve delivery queries and bring important issues to the attention of the relevant department.
- To act as liaison between all interested parties ie business units, procurement, pack houses and hauliers to ensure timely and accurate despatch and delivery, in most cost effective and environmentally friendly manner.
- To maintain Prophet and other associated databases/spreadsheets ensuring full and accurate records are kept.
- To process, record, scan and save all despatch/delivery documentation to establish a full audit trail for reporting and invoicing purposes.
- To assist in the management of retail equipment procurement and stock management.
- To monitor service levels, arrange returns and replace rejections where appropriate.
- To assist in the despatching of vehicles from the Apple Way site, including M&S AS’s.
- To undertake any other duties which support the smooth running of the Logistics office.
- To actively promote best practice in relation to Hygiene, Health & Safety standards, good housekeeping and support the Company’s efforts to minimise its environmental impact and adopt environmental best practice.
- To look to identify areas of improvement, opportunity, innovation and communicate these to the relevant personnel.

This role involves working evening shift Monday - Friday 18:00 - 02:30, 40hours a week.

This is an hourly paid role, paid in monthly instalments.
