Material Expeditor

My client is within the Energy/Pump/Valve market based in Leeds and they are looking for a Materials Expeditor x 2 who will support the Materials Team to enhance communications to ensure delivery or products and services meet and exceed business requirements. You can help take this client to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for:
Offering strong expediting support

Proactively engaging with suppliers and building relationships, to ensure business needs are met on time and in full.

+ Update databases using SAP system

+ Monitor supplier performance, escalating information which could impact on projects

+ Proactively engage and support on company initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
+ Experienced Expeditor working in a related industry

+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages and SAP

+ Strong communicator with the ability to negotiate, influence and persuade others

+ Project management skills, including the flexibility to positively adapt to changing needs and requirements

+ A great problem solver who can pay close attention to the finer details

+ A team player who can act independently.
