Senior Associate, Regulatory Relations

This is a key role supporting the Group Head of Corporate Governance with the management of regulatory affairs at Athora. You will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation and reporting regarding the strategies to ensure that Athora has a proactive, constructive and productive relationship with all relevant supervisors and regulators.

Key Contribution Areas

Support on engagement with supervisors and regulators particularly:

- Oversee and contribute to the implementation of processes and controls developed to maintain a proactive, constructive and productive relationship withs supervisors.
- Manage, maintain and oversee implementation of strategic tools developed to maintain monitoring and awareness of activity across the different supervisors as well as track commitments given in response to supervisors’ requests and feedback.
- Manage, maintain and oversee the regulatory calendar of Athora including all relevant meetings with supervisors across Athora as well as supporting delivery of meeting notes from meetings with supervisors in accordance with agreed policy and processes
- Prepare reports and summaries of activities including summaries of areas of focus by supervisors and themes of activities/interactions
- Support and coordinate the effective running of meetings with key internal senior stakeholders to ensure awareness and input on supervisory and regulatory matters.
- Manage, maintain and contribute to the development of key message documents aimed to promote consistent interactions with supervisors and regulators including supporting the preparation of briefings and materials for senior stakeholder meetings and key scheduled meetings with supervisors.
- Manage, maintain and coordinate assessment and input on relevant regulatory developments including liaising with external advisors for perspectives and input.
