**Paint Prepper - Day and Twilight Shift**

We have opportunities for Paint Preppers to join our Wellingborough Paint-Shop. We work to the highest standards and our Paint-Shop team are a critical part of managing this and supporting the production areas.

This is a day shift, working Monday to Friday. Core hours are 8am to 4:30pm. We offer competitive rates of pay, company pension, 23 days holiday plus the bank holidays, private healthcare and the opportunity for overtime during peak periods.

The twilight shift, working Monday to Thursday. Core hours are 4:30pm to 3:00am. We offer competitive rates of pay, plus a 20% night-shift premium, company pension, 19 days holiday plus the bank holidays, private healthcare and the opportunity for overtime during peak periods.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Responsibilities**
- Understanding the preparation process required in order to achieve a high paint standard.
- Quality checks on completion.
- Adhere to all requirements for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.
- Ability to produce high-quality parts.
- Follow work instructions.
- Meeting the customer requirements.

**SKILLS**:

- Previous carbon fibre prepping experience an advantage.
- Preparation of raw parts for primer.
- Preparation of primer for topcoat.
- Able to remove shape issues from a panel to give a flat surface.
- Able to use filler for pinholes and voids.

**ATTRIBUTES**:

- Experience in a high-pressured/fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the Automotive, Aerospace and/or Motorsport industry.
- Able to work to deadlines.
- Can follow verbal and written instructions.
- Works well with a team and independently.
- Extremely detail orientated.
- Strong communication skills.
