**Role Overview**

Relationships mean everything to us, and this one is particularly special. You’ll have an important part to play providing MHE training, delivering consistent, effective and compliant training in accordance with the operational plan. You'll be training predominately on your preferred shift of 14:00-22:00 or 22:00-06:00, however, as the role covers training for both shifts, flexibility is required.

**About the Role**

As part of your key responsibilities you'll:

- Ensure the on-going competence of all MHE operators through the delivery of refresher training, recorded workplace assessments and where appropriate other training following the identification of unsafe practices or following accidents / incidents.
- Have a proactive approach to continual reduction in risk from MHE operations and where appropriate develop learning from experience briefings to prevent further occurrence.
- Assist in the creation of a safe system of work, suitable and sufficient risk assessments of MHE activities.
- Identify hazards and control measures introduced to eliminate or reduce the risk as so far as is reasonably practicable and ensuring these are trained out to all relevant staff.
- Liaise with all managers to ensure all site training is covered across all shifts.
- Participate as an active member of the training team, and offer suggestions for solving problems and improving site safety.
- Be able to give and receive feedback effectively and adapt well to fast-paced changing requirements.

**About You**
- Valid in date RTITB Instructor Licence would be an advantage
- Previous experience in MHE training is preferred.
- Good PC literacy skills coupled with good communication and organisational skills will be required.
- Ability to work both within a team environment and individually, and in line with company and RTITB policies and procedures.
- There may be a requirement to work different shifts and in different areas.
