**Quality Control Inspector / Machinist (Press Break & Laser)**
- Salary: £12 - £16 per hour
- Hours: 40 hours Monday - Friday, flexible hours between 8am-5pm
- Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

Our client a very successful and well established Welding & Fabrication business in Lowestoft is looking for a Quality Inspector / Engineer.

We are searching for a talented QC Inspector to join our clients sheet metal fabrication company near Lowestoft. In this Quality Control Inspector / Machinist role, you will not only be responsible for inspecting our products with meticulous precision, but you will also have the chance to operate our client's state-of-the-art Press Break and Laser machines. You will also get to be a part of our Goods In/Out process and even enjoy a bit of delivery driving on the side.

**Requirements and responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector / Machinist**:

- Experience operating Press Break and Laser Machinery
- Goods in / Goods Out Process
- Quality Inspection requirements across all manufacturing operations with be required.
- Welding background will be advantageous
- Developing and amending processes / procedures
- Conduct internal audits, manage external audits
- Root cause investigations
- Creation of inspection reports and work instructions
- Liaise with customers on quality issues
- Work to ISO 9001 standards
