Weekday: £13.50ph

Weekend: £14.50ph

Bank Holidays: £27.00ph

**About the Role**:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled mature Support Worker to provide dedicated care for our client, a 36-year-old man living in Edinburgh. The role involves 30-hour per week, 1:1 support, both in the client's home and in the community. The client does not require any personal care or moving and handling but does require support with accessing the community, housework and meal preparation. Experience with challenging behaviour and brain injury is crucial.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the client with daily living activities.
- Accompanying the client on outings, social activities and appointments.
- Assisting the client with money management.
- Support the client with shopping and meal preparations.
- Encourage the client to try new activities.
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment in the client's home.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
- A confident and sensitive approach to care, with respect for the client's independence.
- Experience in supporting individuals with challenging behaviours and brain injury or similar conditions is preferred.
- A full, valid UK driving license.
- Ability to empathise with the client and support appropriately.
- Preference for non-smokers.
