Manchester, United Kingdom Savills Full time

Role Overview

We anticipate this role to be of most relevance and interest to recent graduates or early career professionals with 1-2 years’ experience, though this is not necessarily prescriptive. All of the above would be supervised and learning and experience would be developed through mentoring and a training plan. Other critical areas which would be developed over time are: providing risk assessments and safe systems of work for activities on site; consulting with local authority planning and environmental health departments; other stakeholder engagement; client liaison; project management; and financial management and reporting including invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

As a consultant within the team, the key responsibilities would be as follows:

- Project delivery: To deliver a high quality of work and effectively balance competing priorities. You will be supported in doing so by senior members of the team.
- Project management: To help project manage the projects that you are involved in, ensuring that they remain on time and on budget.
- Business development: To support on business development opportunities on an ad-hoc basis.
- Client engagement: To join and input into client meetings as and when required. You will also be encouraged to develop your own network by attending relevant external events and webinars.

Key Skills
- Good attention to detail, well organised and a proactive approach;
- Strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills;
- A team player with leadership potential;
- Strategic approach to problem solving;
- Highly motivated; and
- Computer and spreadsheet literate.
