Apprentice Treasury Assistant

You’ll be able to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, with a keen eye for detail. We are looking for someone who has good communication skills and shows clarity in reporting and understanding, supported by strong analytical skills and a persistent nature.

This role is crucial to the business and we are keen to support and develop the right individual. With a finance function of over 200 professionals and a complex growing group this role will provide plenty of opportunities to develop and grow your career.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Bank account maintenance. Responsible for maintaining all UK bank accounts. Including but not limited to initial set up of bank accounts, completion of banking documentation, closing old bank accounts, adding bank accounts to facility arrangements and annual review of direct debit arrangements.
- Banking platform. Day to day responsibility for our banking platform, including administration of new users and accounts, changes in limits, payment limits, access requests and user access reviews.
- Credit Cards. Responsible for Credit Card processes including setting up of new credit card arrangements, resolving all card holder and business account queries in a timely and efficient manner and monitoring usage to ensure adherence to credit card policy.
- Support the Treasury Team with any queries received from the wider business
- Management of all banking related post.
- Ad hoc support as required by management.

**Person Specification**:

- Has good and developing IT skills including use of Microsoft Office
- Is a competent and developing user of Microsoft Excel
- Have strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise, multitask and commit to meeting reporting deadlines

**Salary and benefits**
- £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience
