**Mobile Retail Assistant**

8.30-5 Monday to Thursday

8.30-1.30 Friday

10-2, 26 Sundays per year (to be rotated)

Here you will find a selection of the most popular items from our wide range of hair and beauty products, for technicians, salons and barbers. New items are added every week in sectors such as tanning, waxing, hair colour, shampoo, furniture, nails and more

**MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE**:
You will work in all branches dependant on the need for cover for holiday and sickness or busy periods. You will be able to react quickly where cover is required at short notice and arrive promptly by planning your journey ahead.

You will have the use of a van to travel from home to work (not personal use) and you must ensure that the van is maintained and looked after to ensure its life time.

To provide an efficient and courteous sales service to customers to positively impact on their experience, minimise waiting time and to up-sell products through customer follow up providing opportunities for business. To deliver orders to customers as and when required.

**MAIN TASKS**

**Within Branch**
- Greet all customers by name first, establish rapport
- Prompt till transactions
- Identify new customers to Dennis Williams
- Add customer value by explaining new products, features and benefits and assist with customer enquiries
- Transfer stocks internally
- Book stocks in promptly and ensure clear shop floor
- Re-stock the Branch accurately and efficiently
- Up-sell any products, promoting Dennis Williams brand, to customers where possible
- Taking accurate payment through credit card or cash
- Ensuring no counterfeit notes are handled
- Ensure high level of housekeeping to ensure a positive customer experience (clean shelves, tidy shop floor, good point of sale display)
- To maintain and update the Branch area including cleanliness of toilets, displays and leaflets and promotional material
- Ensure a prompt and efficient service
- Be flexible in the approach to tasks
- Dealing with trainees attending training courses
- To be of aware of and adhere to all the Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment
- Answer telephone promptly and professionally
- Take telephone order promptly without error
- Deal with day to day paper work that may be required including booking of training, dealing with stock transfers printing of price labels etc.
- Responsible for the company van and ensure that it is fully maintained and report any accidents and damages.

**KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS**

Knowledge of OPERA and Microsoft Office

Telephone systems

Full driving licence

Be organised, outgoing and be able to act on own initiative

**OTHER DUTIES**

Due to the size and complexity of the business you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability**, **as directed by a senior manager to whom you have a reporting relationship

**Reporting to**: Operation Director
