Midas are delighted to be working with this well-established, privately owned, retail company whose headquarters are based in Central Birmingham, with excellent public transport links. Due to growth the company has created a new permanent position of CreditController.
**Duties for the role of Credit Controller**:
? Working in a team enviroment
? Maintaining the customer accounts
? Prompt collection of outstanding debt
? Allocating receipts to outstanding balances
? Highlighting and Investigating overdue debts
**Experience required for the Credit Controller**:
? Proficient in the use of a computerised accounting system
? Professional telephone manner
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Judgement and decision making skills
? Problem solving skills
? Intermediate skills in Word and Excel
? Able to work well as part of a team
**Working hours and Benefits package**:
? Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm 1 hour lunch
? 20 Days annual leave plus bank holidays
? Pension
? Basic salary of £21,000
