We are looking to recruit a Yard Operative to join our Milton Keynes. You will be a key link to the depot by being responsible for processing instructions received from the Depot Supervisor in ensuring quality, safety, security, and minimising wastage.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**
- Ensure all equipment loaded onto vehicles is correctly counted and has the appropriate documentation.
- Ensure all work carried out at the depot and on site is done in the most efficient manner taking the company, customers and H & S regulations into consideration.
- Ensure any defective plant and equipment are reported immediately.
- Ensure all tasks and targets allocated by the depot manager and depot supervisor are completed accurately and within the timeframe allocated.
- Operating and driving a forklift vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Moving goods or products around a warehouse or industrial site.
- Loading and unloading products or materials from trucks, containers, or other forms of transportation.
- Keeping track of inventory and maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Inspecting the forklift before each shift and ensuring it is in good working order.
- Recording materials and products transported.
- Communicating with other workers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the role
- Understand the importance of deadlines
- Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
- Forklift experience is an advantage
