Role: Head of Network Design

**Salary**: £80 000 - £10 000/annum + Package

Location: London/ Surrey

Our client, a highly reputable organisation that is considered as a leading Utility Giant who are hiring a Head of Design role in their business

As the Head of Electrical Design your duties will include:

- Ensure the safe adoption of distribution networks operating up to 132kV.
- High Voltage ( HV) Network and Substation design.
- Engaging with other senior members of the organisation.
- Produce compliant designs in accordance with customer and UIP requirements/constraints
- Ensure strict compliance with all Business/Quality Management Systems and Safety Procedures
- Environmental Policy and Health, Safety Policies and company procedures
- Numerate, with an understanding of Accounting Systems and Job Costings Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills

Experience Required
- We are looking for an **experienced Electrical Designer **who has managed a team of designers to take on the challenge as Head of Design.
- Managing a teams and being hands
- Motivating the team around you
- Ideally design experience of up to 132KV.
- Power Distribution experience
- Experience/proficient in the use of AutoCAD - Good understanding of 2D CAD drawing.
- Electricity network design experience with the ability to use IT based design software i.e., WinDebut, IPSA
- Experience using MS Office software packages, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Organisational and Time Management
- We are looking for High Voltage (HV) Design Experience.
- Team working
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience of working directly with customers

**Salary**: £80,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
