HR Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to join our hybrid remote team based in Shropshire. You will form part of the HR Team and work alongside the HR Advisor to contribute to a customer focussed service that supports and enables achievement of the strategic and organisational objectives through effective management of people data and systems.

This role has been identified as suitable for Hybrid Working which will be a combination of home working and working from our Head Office in Craven Arms. During your first month of employment, we ask that you are predominantly based in the office for training purposes however after this we ask you to manage your own time and work from the office as and when required. There may also be the requirement to travel to our other offices in Hereford or Wem on an ad-hoc basis and occasional travel to career events over both counties.

Your role will include:

- Contributing to the development of the workforce through effective, informed, and resourceful recruitment practices and the provision of data and analysis
- Building a coaching/consulting role with managers/ inter-related departments
- Undertaking appropriate case work, providing accurate, legally compliant advice and guidance to managers under the guidance of the HR Adviser
- Ensuring HR reporting and use of business intelligence is shared with designated business areas and appropriate and timely action is taken to improve individual and organisational performance

Who we are looking for someone who:

- Is customer focussed and is CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards
- Has the ability to deliver project management outcomes.
- Has clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
- Has experience of working in a HR team providing a confidential service, advice and support.
- Is highly focused upon the setting and achievement of challenging goals and objectives.
- Has a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
