**The Job You’ll Do;**
- Help build a programme management capability and instil best practices, in order to support operational managers in the monitoring and reporting on performance and project targets.
- Articulate and document sound business improvement cases with clearly defined measurable business outcomes and benefits, including benefit maps /plans for presentation to the Group Director and Managing Director.
- Develop and deliver project /programme related tools in order to enable managers and section heads to report on performance, for analysis and trend-mapping.
- Engage in business change related activities to ensure programmes/projects are successfully adopted and implemented to meet targets or deliver against defined outcomes.
- Lead on the management of risk and business continuity to support managers with risk and business continuity plans within their area of the business.
- Work closely with managers and section heads to ensure business needs are understood and delivered by the projects.
- Oversee the management of quality and Health & Safety compliance to ensure managers and section heads are aware of their responsibilities-this was in here for managing JG, may need to go in to Small Works Manager.
- Liaise with Human Resources consultants to ensure that the business meets its’ obligations as an employer and provides an excellent employee experience, by working collaboratively with the outsourced providers to ensure that working practices are compliantwith employment law and employees are well trained and secure in their roles.
- Oversee and co-ordinate all recruitment activity as and when required.
- Manage productive working relationships with operational managers and section heads, supporting the prompt resolution of emerging issues to avoid risks, performance and quality issues.
- Establish effective relationships with managers and section heads across the business in order to help them to build motivated, delivery focussed teams.
- Oversee all policies, procedures and reporting infrastructure to ensure managers and section heads are clear on processes and their responsibilities.
- Continuously review policy, process and practice to ensure the business is legally compliant, advising the directors and proposing procurement of additional professional services where necessary.
- Implement systems to ensure conformity to all agreed client processes and operating procedures and particularly those which are detailed as key project delivery processes.
- Undertake annual training needs analyses via the annual Performance Development Programme, to ensure the workforce is appropriately trained.
- Support the Directors in the delivery of strategic objectives.
- Manage Business Development team.

**About You;**
- Level 5/6 in Management Information or Business Analytics Discipline OR Experience in a relevant business area.
- Experience of collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven track record of delivering team objectives against an overarching business plan.
- Proven project and/or programme manager.
- Continuous Improvement Experience.
- People Management skills/experience.
