Making A Difference as A Homelessness Early Intervention & Prevention Officer in Housing Services.
The Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities have awarded the Liverpool City Region £2.1million as part of the Homelessness Prevention Trailblazer programme. This post is funded and co-ordinated by the Homelessness Strategy Team at the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as part of a city-region homelessness trailblazer programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably motivated and skilled individual to join St Helens Borough Council and work as part of a small team to deliver a preventative response to homelessness. Prevention and early intervention are at the heart of our approach, and we seek to recruit an individual with a track record to demonstrate delivery in this sector.
St Helens Borough Council seeks to appoint an Early Intervention & Prevention Officer to support the delivery of its homelessness prevention approach for both families and single people in the borough. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably motivated and skilled individual to work as part of a dedicated Housing Options Service.
The successful applicant will join a small but dedicated team to support customers to provide intervention to prevent homelessness, including working with a range of partner organisations in the borough.
