**Summary**:
Part time welcoming and personable receptionist required to join our small friendly professional team in our Bristol clinic. You'll be the sole receptionist on site however greatly supported in your role by our patient advisory and management team. This is a part-time role; 8-16 hours a week.

Veincentre was established in 2003 as the first private UK company specifically set up to provide patients with NICE approved non-surgical treatments for varicose veins and venous insufficiency. We change patients’ enjoyment of life and it’s something we’re extremely passionate about.

Our Head Office is in Staffordshire and clinics are in key locations across the UK.

We are looking for a friendly, chatty, relaxed and confident individual to take on a combined Medical Secretary and Receptionist role.

You will be sat in our lovely waiting area and your role will include receptionist duties such as meeting and greeting patients, arranging appointments, taking payments and medical secretarial skills such as typing medical reports and, once you pick up information on all things veins you'll naturally start, advising patients on their care pathway. We encourage all admin team members to observe clinics in progress, and you'll be trained in the pre and post care advice patients require. We find all admin team members play a vital role in enhancing the patient's experience both before, during and after their clinic visits.

**General Role**

You will be the first person our patients meet so we are looking for someone who is presentable, polite, friendly, personable and has excellent communication skills. Overall your role is to ensure all of our patients have the best possible experience throughout their time at the clinic.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming patients warmly
- Scheduling appointments
- Patient invoicing and taking payments
- Typing Medical Reports
- Preparing medical notes ensuring that all relevant paperwork is ready for the consultant
- Assembling client lists ready for the following day’s operating list
- Updating patient records and dealing with confidential information
- Being able to answer/direct any queries that our patients may have
- Chatting to patients and their relatives/ friends
- Offering refreshments (tea/coffee) to patients
- Keeping the reception clean and tidy throughout the day (including washing up cups and saucers)
- Purchasing provisions e.g. milk, newspapers/magazines and flowers as required from petty cash
- Stock check
