Calf Rearer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Calf Rearer to join our team. As a Calf Rearer, you will be responsible for the care and management of young calves, ensuring their health and well-being.

**Duties**:

- Feed and water calves according to their specific feed plan
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of calf pens and facilities
- Administer medications and vaccinations
- Observe calves for signs of illness or injury and provide appropriate treatment
- Assist with calvings and post calving care
- Maintain accurate records of calf health, growth, and treatments

**Skills**:

- Strong animal care skills with experience in calf rearing preferred
- Basic knowledge of mathematics for measuring feed ratios and calculating medication dosages
- Excellent observation skills to identify signs of illness or distress in calves
