Do you work in HR and you’re looking for that next step? We’re hiring for a Logistics organisation that has multiple sites across the UK and are growing pretty quickly. So why do they want to hire you?

We’re looking to hire a HR Assistant in Higham Ferrers on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll be paid between £20,000 - £24,000 per annum, Monday to Friday and they’re a company that encourages casual dress. They have a small HR function but as they’re growing, so is the workload.

**What will you be doing**:

- Day-to-day you will carry out HR related duties including HR administration and onboarding at site
- You will create and issue contracts of employment and new starter packs for the site’s employees, and the wider group across the UK. You will set up employee files, whilst ensuring right to work compliance
- Due to the fact the team is small, you’ll be expected to get involved with various ad hoc duties, this will give you some excellent exposure to grow, not only your HR skills, but your admin skills
- You will partner with stakeholders across the site to build solid relationships, showing that the onsite HR team has an open door policy and you’re very much seen as a value add service

**What do they want from you**:

- Similar experience in a HR position is preferred. A CIPD isn’t essential but would be a big plus if you have it. The company will pay for you to complete your CIPD if you don’t have this
- If you’re from a fast-paced environment and are familiar with spinning many plates at one time, you could be a great fit for this team
- A positive attitude is a MUST - the team work hard and make sure everyone loves the environment they work in. It’s important this flows throughout the whole workforce at site

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
