Here at the Fleur De Lys pub in lovely Lowsonford, we need an efficient and motivated kitchen porter to join our kitchen team on Mondays and Tuesdays, plus some Fridays.

You need to be a quick learner, easy to work with and committed to getting the job done. You should be organised, focused and fast to complete the tasks set. Your main duties will include:

- Helping to maintain the general cleanliness of the kitchen
- Organise the pot-wash area, hand wash dishes and operate the dishwasher
- Assisting the chefs with any tasks required during service
- Basic food preparation
- Overseeing dessert section
- Receiving, checking and organizing deliveries
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in accordance with EHO and allergen guidelines
- Assist other team members with set-up and close down of their sections
- Conscientious about ensuring standards remain high, fast and efficient.

You should have a strong appreciation for food safety and hygiene standards, the ability to communicate well with the rest of the team and an unflappable work ethic.

We offer generous tips & staff discount in addition to your basic salary.

You will need to be able to work every Monday & Tuessay. You should expect to work approx 20 hours a week, with potential to take on extra shifts as holiday cover and during peak season. Usual working hours would be 12-3pm and 6pm-10pm, plus 12pm-5pm on Fridays.

You should be able to commute independently to and from work; due to our rural accommodation there is no public transport. There is NO live-in accommodation available.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
