This position averages 40 hours per week with working alternate weekends. You will be reporting to our Café Management Team and your main responsibilities would be;
- Primarily providing back of house support to the management team but there may be some front of house support on occasion where required.
- We produce nearly everything in house so there is a lot of food prep and cooking tasks to complete daily. Assisting with ordering, stock control and rotation and awareness of production/prep levels on a rolling weekly basis.
- Helping to run a smooth kitchen service over breakfast and lunch and delivering plates in a timely/presentable manner.
- Ensuring high levels of cleanliness within the kitchen environment with a good understanding of food safety, allergen awareness and also applicable health and safety considerations.
- Helping to manage the team's duties on a daily basis, helping to run shifts and supporting team members with customers requests or issues that arise during service. Training others on food prep tasks and monitoring to ensure good levels of food hygeine are maintained at all times.
- Helping the team to continue to push the cafe forwards with higher levels of customer service, new product ideas or new efficiencies/ideas.

Some kitchen experience is required for this position but full training will be provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour
